Angela Alvarado Corson is a multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas, with more than 20 years of experience in ceramics, painting, and metal sculpture. Her work functions as a powerful means of expression, often moving beyond the limits of spoken or written language to communicate deeper layers of human emotion and experience. Guided by a belief in art’s capacity to unify, she creates works that reflect the spirit of community and its potential for transformation. Originally from Colombia, her cross-cultural perspective profoundly shapes her practice, infusing her work with connection, empathy, and resilience. Constantly exploring new materials and forms, she investigates how each medium-whether clay, paint, or steel-can most effectively bring her ideas to life.
